Thank you for trusting Vibe Digital Marketing with your project. To connect your domain to your new website (and set up email records), give us delegate access to your GoDaddy domains. Delegates sign in with their own login, so you never need to share your password.
At a glance
- You’ll need: the GoDaddy account that holds your domain
- Access to give us: Domains Only, with domain management (no transfers)
- Time: about 2 minutes
- Who to invite: Use the email address your Vibe account manager gave you. Not sure which one? Email info@vibedigital.marketing and we’ll tell you.
Steps
Step 1: Open Delegate Access
Sign in to GoDaddy, then go to account.godaddy.com/access. You can also get there from your name in the top-right corner > Account Settings > Delegate Access.
Step 2: Invite us
Under People who can access my account, select Invite to Access.
Step 3: Enter our details
Enter your account manager’s name and email address.
Step 4: Choose the access level
Select Domains Only, with domain management access. You don’t need to give us transfer access.
Management access lets us update DNS and nameservers so your domain points to your new site and email. If we’re also working on GoDaddy hosting or Microsoft 365 email you bought from GoDaddy, your account manager may ask for Products & Domains instead.
Step 5: Send the invite
Select Invite. GoDaddy emails us, we accept, and GoDaddy lets you know when we have.
Good to know
- GoDaddy invitations expire after 48 to 72 hours, so please send it when your account manager is expecting it.
- Delegates can’t see your payment methods or invite anyone else.
- You can remove our access at any time from the same Delegate Access page.
- Thinking about moving your domain to Vibe so we can manage it for you? Ask your account manager about our domain services.
